The Company Directors

Wayne Bishop, Chair – Wayne is CEO of King & Shaxson Asset Management, an ethical fund and portfolio management business and an alumnus of WTC. He has worked in the UK and European financial markets and in Ethical Investment Management since 2002. Wayne moved to King and Shaxson in 2005.

Chris Gillies – Chris has extensive experience of the business sector, having been a member of Zurich Insurance Group’s leadership team before taking early retirement to spend more time working in the not-for-profit sector. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from Companies House. He is currently the Chair of Stewardship.

Sarah Hunter – Sarah worked for GlaxoSmithKline for 33 years starting out as a chemical engineer through to global roles in strategy and implementation. Sarah currently has a part time strategic role with Open Doors drawn by the authenticity of those who risk their lives for their faith.

Janey Lawry-White – Janey is the Chief Operating Officer of WTC. Before joining WTC, her career included working in the international humanitarian and development sector for governments, NGOs and the United Nations; working with the BBC; and setting up a number of small businesses. Janey is an alumna of WTC.

Lucy Peppiatt – Lucy is a systematic theologian who studied at King’s College London and the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. She became Principal of WTC in 2013, having been Dean of Studies and acting Principal before then. Since taking over leadership of WTC, the profile of WTC has continuously risen as has the acceptance of the value of studying theology among leaders and church members in the independent church sector.

Sunil Rajan – Sunil is Cofounder and President of ePOP Ai, a technology platform in the FinTech space. Sunil has a background originally from the Capital Markets space through to Investment Management. Most recently Sunil has been scaling and growing Financial Technology companies towards trade exits. He is currently an Advisor to the Elim Gospel Alliance comprising of 400+ churches and a Trustee at Stewardship.

Tim Sture – Tim is CEO of Sture Forensic, a forensic accountancy company, working with lawyers and insurers to resolve disputes. Before setting up Sture Forensic, Tim was the Owner and Director of Scisco Forensics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Member of the Expert Witness Institute. Tim is also an alumnus of WTC.
