Our directors bring extensive experience in higher education leadership, organisational development, and system innovation to guide WTC Consulting’s mission of supporting educational institutions.

Strategic Leadership

Wayne Bishop, Chair

Wayne is CEO of King & Shaxson Asset Management, an ethical fund and portfolio management business. He has worked in the UK and European financial markets and in Ethical Investment Management since 2002. Wayne moved to King & Shaxson in 2005.

Ben Blackwell

Ben is the current Principal of WTC. Before becoming a New Testament scholar he worked as an actuary for corporates in the USA. He has an MBA and a BA in Accounting.

Janey Lawry-White

Janey has established and run businesses, including a management consultancy on humanitarian and development issues to governments and international organisations. She has been MD of WTC Consulting since its establishment in 2020. Janey was COO of WTC between 2018-2025.

Nigel Langford

Nigel worked in the City of London and was involved in training, management consultancy and project management before becoming a church leader, and moving to Bible Society. He is currently COO of WTC.

Lucy Peppiatt

Lucy is a systematic theologian educated at King’s College London and the University of Otago, New Zealand. She is now the President of WTC. Since she took over leadership of WTC, the college’s profile has risen continuously, as has the acceptance of the value of studying theology among leaders and church members in the independent church sector.

Sarah Hunter

Sarah worked for GlaxoSmithKline for 33 years starting out as a chemical engineer and progressing to global roles in strategy and implementation. Sarah currently has a part-time, strategic role with Open Doors drawn by the authenticity of those who risk their lives for faith.

Sunil Rajan

Sunil is Cofounder and President of ePOP Ai, a technology platform in the FinTech space. Sunil’s background spans the Capital Markets space through to Investment Management. Most recently, he has been scaling and growing Financial Technology companies towards trade exits. He is currently an advisor to Elim Gospel Alliance which comprises 650+ churches, and is a Trustee of Stewardship.

Tim Sture

Tim is CEO of Sture Forensic, a forensic accountancy company, working with lawyers and insurers to resolve disputes. Before setting up Sture Forensic, Tim was the owner and Director of Scisco Forensics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Member of the Expert Witness Institute.
